Easter Egg Hunt

We took Keltie to the Easter egg hunt at the Abbotsford nursing home on Saturday with Granny Will. There was 900 eggs hid so each kid got to take 30 of them. It wasn't very difficult for her to get her eggs. You could just walk and pick them up. At first she wasn't too sure about it, but then she started to throw the eggs into her basket.
Starting off nicely putting them in her basket.
Getting a little help from Daddy and Granny.

"I got another one."
"How many more to go?"
If you remember Keltie's picture at Christmas time with Santa, it looked a lot like this one. She would wave to the bunny when he was far away, but didn't want anything to do with him when he got too close. You could feel her hands tightening around ours. Maybe next year! At least we got a picture with Great Grandma Staab.

I guess we'll be celebrating Keltie's birthday more than we will Easter this year--at least Easter with the Easter Bunny. I know Granny Will and Grandma Staab enjoyed collecting eggs with you--even with the tears!! Precious pictures!!
