Scrunchy Face

Lately Keltie has been looking through magazines with me. She likes to try to make the faces that the people are making in them. She has gotten better about having her picture taken. These are pictures this morning of her "scrunchy face." At least now when she says Cheese she actually smiles.

"Uppy"

We have been discussing with Keltie that she is going to have a baby brother or sister very soon. When you ask her which one she would like she says no for both of them. The other day driving home I was asking her which name she liked better, the one we had chosen for a boy or the one we had chosen for a girl. Of course she said no to both of them. I asked her if she wanted any baby and she said no. I then asked her if she wanted us to give the baby back and she said, "Yes!" I tried to explain to her that this wasn't possible, but I don't know if she understood or not.

Well, Saturday night we were over at Kevin's aunt and uncle's house. His aunt was asking Keltie which she wanted. She was in her usual mood and said no to both choices. She then asked Keltie if she would like a puppy. Keltie said yes to this. So every time we kept asking her if Mama should have a boy or a girl she said "Mama baby uppy." I think she's going to have a rude awakening when she sees a baby instead of an "uppy." I'm sure she'll make a wonderful sister to a boy, girl or an uppy.

Another Step Closer

We are getting closer and closer to moving Keltie downstairs to her new bedroom, although we still have a long way to go yet. Over the weekend we were able to finish getting it painted. Special thanks to Kevin for getting it primed, textured and painted the base color. Thanks also to Mom for helping me paint the circles. It turned out really cute although the pictures don't really do it justice.

Easter

We celebrated Easter with Kevin's family this year. Keltie got to spend a lot of time with her cousins in the days leading up to Easter. She had a great time.
Seconds earlier, she was busted for jumping on the bed. "Who me?"
Searching for all those Easter eggs that we colored.
"Come on girls, let's keep looking."

Belly Shots

As you can tell I'm getting closer and closer to my due date. With that my belly is getting bigger and bigger.
Comparing bellies. Who's do you think is due first?
Poor Keltie keeps getting pushed out further and further when she sits on my lap.

Big Brown Eyes

Sometimes the simplest pictures are the sweetest!

Happy Early Birthday!

We had Keltie's 2nd birthday party this weekend since everyone was home. Again, thankfully she wasn't sick so were able to have a big celebration. It was so nice to be able to have everyone over and share her birthday with them. Keltie definitely enjoyed having all the attention directed at her as well. Here are a few shots from the day. Thank you to everyone who could make it to celebrate with us.
How can anyone resist those eyes?
Just waiting for everyone to show up.
Such a little lady in her dress.
"I'm waiting Mama."
"Please can I have Elmo now?"
Blow carefully.
Getting a little help from Mama.
"I get to eat Elmo now!"
"What could this be?"
"Is everyone watching me?"
Getting a little help from Aunt Denise and Addison.

Coloring Eggs

Last year as you might remember, Keltie was sick for Easter and her first birthday. Thankfully we didn't have to go through that again. We spent Friday evening at Granny and Papa's decorating Easter eggs. At Christmas time all the grand kids were together to decorate cookies and that turned out to be an adventure. Well, imagine three two year old children. Thankfully there were a lot of helping hands.
Daddy helping Keltie stir the egg.
"Hey, how did you get that color?"
Keltie's getting ready to drop an egg into the cup.
"Such a pretty color."
