Real World

Well, summer is officially almost over for me. I once again can't believe how fast it has gone by. We did a lot of things over the summer. Here's a short glimpse into everything. (Sorry no pictures, since we broke our camera and I forgot the other one.)

*Our grand total of times out camping is 14. I do believe that is a new record for us. (Hopefully more times to come  yet)

*Kinsley celebrated her 2nd birthday. I am happy to say that it was different than last year. She wasn't quite as clingy!

* I taught 5 weeks of summer school so the girls got an abundant amount of Grammy (and sometimes Boompa) time. It ws kind of nice this year because it was broken up a little bit more during the summer. Keltie even went with me quite a few days and she did great although she had a hard time remembering that those kids were a whole year older than her.

*The girls have been growing and changing so much. Kinsley is such a little stinker at times. She has transitioned from her crib to a big girl bed and at the same time moved downstairs. This hasn't been a real well adjustment as she is now happily sleeping on the floor instead of in her bed, but at least she's in her room. Keltie is learning something new everyday. She is always asking questions and wants to learn more. We went to visit her 4K classroom and meet her teacher last night. She'll start school on Tuesday. WOW!

I could keep listing things that we did, but I would probably bore you. Let's just say that we had a great summer and I'm sad to see it coming to an end. The girls are back at daycare, which went better today than on Tuesday. This means that I'm back at work. (Sigh). At least I should be able to have the technology to update this blog more often. (Although it's not working too well now.)
I should be back on Tuesday with pictures of my little girl getting on the school bus. Hopefully she doesn't have meltdown as she gets on. Also hoping that Kinsley doesn't have meltdown when she sees Keltie get on the bus. Oh, so much to look forward to. :)
