Six Months Old

Last Saturday Kinsley turned 6 months old. It's so hard to believe how fast that time has gone by. She is changing so much everyday. She goes to the doctor later this month and I'm excited to see how much she weighs. She has such a "compact" frame. I think her cheeks get chubbier each day. She has started to eat her vegetables and does a great job with that. She has rolled from her stomach to her back a few times, but doesn't really show any interest in it. She is so close from going to her back to stomach, but gets to a certain point and doesn't really try any more. Keltie and I are constantly cheering her on. I know that she'll reach these milestones, but for now she's happy just lying there and that's all that matters. She loves to stand up and play in her exersaucer. She has the gift of gab like her Mama and sister and Grammy and...... She is a morning person and wakes up ready to talk. She has already brought so much joy to our lives and we will be blessed with many more memories as she grows.

Trying her first biter biscuit. I'm not sure she was too excited about it. Of course Keltie had to be there to help.
"How did this get on my head?"
Look at that tummy.
This was her crazy hair this morning. I think she will eventually have the curls like Keltie does.
I love this face so much!

Happy Friday!

Sometimes you just have to smile at everything that you have been given. Here's my smiles for the day. If you look closely, they are even holding hands. So precious.

Child Services

One time when Keltie was little and we were camping I took a nap. When I got up, my little girl had a mohawk and there were pictures of her with a beer in her hand. Well, I guess it was time to do that with Kinsley. These are pictures taken from Will Christmas, but I guess there were more taken by Carol, again while I wasn't present. Hopefully, they don't surface or child services might be after us.
"Blue yummies are so good."
This is what it looks like when too many blue yummies are consumed.

Rose Bowl

I spent a lot of my time over Christmas break taking care of a sick little girl. Keltie came down with pink eye and a good cold that lasted for almost a week. It was rough to see her suffering through it, but thankfully she is on the mend. Hopefully, we alls tay healthy now. Anyway, New Year's Day we ventured out of the house and went to Uncle John and Auntie Carol's house to watch the Rose Bowl. We had a lot of fun like we always do when we get together.
Keltie on the beautiful toy box that John made for the girls.
Kinsley as happy as can be.
The girls and their new toy box. Thank you so much John, we love it.
Keltie playing piano with Granny. She was so cute doing this. She kept looking at Granny to see if she was doing it correctly.

Sledding Fun

After we opened presents on Christmas Day, it was time to go outside for some sledding. I stayed inside, but was told that Keltie was quite the little daredevil. She wanted to go down backwards, on her tummy and all the way from the top. She loved every minute. She got more rides than anyone because all the cousins wanted to go down with her.
Keltie and Autumn.
Even Daddy had to give it a try.

Hold on tight.
"This is fun."
Riding with Ella or Kylie. I'm not sure.
Giving the thumbs up. Actually, I don't think that her thumb is in her mitten correctly.

Will Christmas

Christmas Day we headed to Kevin's parents to celebrate with his family. That's always an adventure with all the kids. They were all well behaved and kept playing with each other's toys.
Keltie and her new barn set.

Showing Papa the book from Roxie and Tim. The highlight of this book, the page where the dog pees.
Kinsley enjoying her new ball.

Christmas #2

Christmas Eve we headed to my Grandma's house to celebrate. The girls finally got to wear their dresses. Thankfully Christmas wasn't a week later or they wouldn't have fit in them. The girls were both good and had a lot of fun opening presents. The highlight of the day, the Dora pajamas.
Kinsley just chilling getting ready for Santa to come.
"I wonder what's in here."
Enjoying a book with Boompa. I think that we can open a library with all the books that we got.

Chow Time

Over Christmas break we decided that it was time to start Kinsley on "real" food. She has been on oatmeal for awhile, but it was time for the vegetables. She has been a trooper with it so far. She's had green beans, squash and carrots. We only give her a little bit at a time, but it always seems that she wants more.
First bite of green beans. Not so sure about it.
Gotta love that face. She loves sitting in the high chair because she can see so much more.

Winter Wonderland

We finally took the girls to see the lights in Marshfield. Kevin and I had been there before, but never to walk around. We picked a nice night and bundled up the girls. It was such a great experience. It is much better walking through it than driving through. I kept thinking how amazing it was. Then I would picture myself as Keltie and think how impressed she was. She loved it. When we started to leave she started crying and said, "I don't want to leave yet. I like it here." All in the eyes of a child.
Kinsley couldn't relaly see a whole lot, but she stayed awake the whole time.
Mama and Keltie .
Daddy and Keltie. I thought for awhile that we were going to have to stop at everyone of these.
The girls.
Keltie didn't want to get her picture taken by the "real" Santa so she decided that this one would be okay. In fact when we went in by Santa she said, "I don't like him." (I don't know what she's doing with her arms.)
Kinsley doesn't know any better. I'm sure next year, she might not be so willing.
