Will Weekend

This past weeknd was our annual Will Weekend getaway. We headed up to Tomhawk on Friday night to stay with the family at a cabin. Keltie was super excited because she knew that she would get to spend time playing with her cousins. They always have so much fun when they are together and play so nicely. Everything went really well considering there were six kids under the age of 8 there. I don't think that any of us really got a whole lot of sleep with all the kids, but it was a lot of fun. On Saturday the whole family went on a sleigh ride. It was snowing pretty good when we left, but by the end it had stopped. Here's a few pictures from it.
All bundled up. We were worried about Kinsley staying warm, but I'm sure that she was the warmest of all of us, especially if she was able to fall asleep.
For the first part of it, Keltie wasn't too sure of things, but by the end she was having fun.
Nice few of the butts. The girls were very impressed with the horse poop.
The whole gang.
We stopped at two bars along the way. Keltie thought that it was pretty fun to be able to sit on a bar stool and have a drink. When we went into the bathroom before we left, she asked where the shower was. I explained to her that it was a bar and not a house. She also kept looking in the mirror and telling me that there was another potty and sink in there beecause she could see the reflections. She's too funny sometimes.
Good to the last drop.
All the girls gambling. We joked that in a few years they would probably be spending time together in the bars. Also sometime during the weekend they were comparing their tatoos. It could mean trouble for all of us in a the next few years.

More From Photo Session

I love htis picture, but at the same time I don't because Keltie looks too grown up.
When I first saw this picture, I immediately saw myself. It's all in the eyes.

Photo Shoot

Over the weekend, Auntie Carol took the pictures of the girls. It's always so much fun trying to get them to do what you want. When one cooperates, the other one isn't interested. Oh well, I guess that's expected with two little ones. After some snack breaks and of course potty breaks, they were willing to cooperate. Here are some of the results. Thanks a lot Carol.
Of course Carol had to get her two cents in. Keltie does have a shirt that says this as well and loves wearing it when she's with Auntie Carol. Kinsley on the other hand loves Carol when she's not too close or isn't holding her.

Little Valentine's

So I'm not big on Valentine's day, but I was excited for it this morning because Keltie has been talking about it for the last couple of days. I'm sure that has to do with the fact that she gets a party today at the babysitter's and with that means lots of snacks that we probably wouldn't let her have otherwise. I tried to get pictures of them this morning, but once again, Keltie was too engrossed in her show. Oh well, they brought smiles to me, so hopefully they do to you as well.
"I'll look, but I have to keep on eye on my show."
This is after I begged her for just one good picture.
This might almost qualify as an akward family photo. Kinsley doesn't look too sure of herself.
Keltie is telling me I'm all done and trying to push Kinsley off her lap. Gotta love sisterly love.
"My first Valentine's Day."
"I'll look at you Mama."
Not the world's greatest picture, but you gotta love those cheeks.

Are You Looking at Me?

Winter Fun

We went to visit Kevin's sister Roxie and her husband Tim a couple of weeks ago. While we were there we got the girls all bundled up to go outside and go sledding. If you ever want a good workout, all you have to do is get two little ones ready to go. Thankfully it was nice outside so we could spend a lot of time out there. The worst is when you get outside and they want to go in. Keltie got to go down a few hills and Kinsley just enjoyed being pulled. Actually she spent most of the time with her feet up in the air as she was being pulled. Amazingly she even fell asleep. Although it was a lot of fun, I'm wishing for spring.

"Let's go."
All bundled up and ready to go.

Two Peas in a Pod

Keltie has been so good playing with Kinsley lately. She wants to go down to her room and always wants Kinsley to go with. (I hope that this continues.) I'll take Kinsley down and then she'll want me to leave. We're not quite ready for that yet. Last night it was time for a tea party.
Kinsley trying to get the tea pot, while Keltie is scowling.
"Mmmm, this tastes good."

Outside Fun

Last night, Kevin took Keltie outside to play on the swing set. Kinsley and I decided to join them since it was a nice night. We put Kinsley in the swing and she loved it. She giggled every time you pushed her. Keltie thought it was awesome that she got to go on her "big girl" swing as well. Let's just hope that snow melts soon so we can have a lot more time outside.
Daddy and his girls.
"I can't move, but this is fun."

The Girls

I know that I have been awful about putting up new pictures of the girls, but there is not enough hours in the day somedays. Kinsley went into her doctor's appointment on Monday for her six month check up. She is 18 pounds 12 ounces and is 27 inches long. This means she is growing like a weed. In comparison, Keltie was 16 pounds 14 ounces and 26 1/2 inches long at 6 months. Kinsley is turned into such a little girl and is getting such a personality. She has started to say "Da, da." Even though she says Daddy, she puts her arms out and reaches for Mama. She still doesn't have any teeth so we are slowly introducing her to more solid foods. She had Cheerios the other night and loved them. Here are some pictures that I took the other day of our girls.
Nice picture of Kinsley's bald spot from where she rubs her head.
Just another view.
"How can I get that remote to my mouth?" (Everything has to go in her mouth.)
"I'm ready for the day." I thought these pictures were really cute until I downloaded them. It's hard to see, but she's got a nice green booger hanging from her nose. Oops!
Of course when you take a picture of Kinsley, you have to take a picture of Keltie as well.
Silly goose.
I told her to give me her silliest face. This is the result.
