Memorial Day

We didn't have a babysitter on Friday so both Kevin and I took off of work so we could leave earlier to go camping. This time we headed to Sherwood. The weather wasn't that great on Saturday, but the rest of the weekend went great. There was a lot more drama this camping trip than there usually is, but I won't get into that. I'll just share all the great things we did instead.

We took the potty chair for Kinsley. She went five times!
She also has about 3 bites on her butt to prove it. Keltie tried to keep her company as did Kevin.
Testing out the water Friday night. It was a little cool.
The sand was so soft that Keltie just liked playing in it.
Kinsley loved the slides last year, but has been really apprehensive about them this year. Not anymore. She kept climbing up all by herself and loved going down. Now there's no stopping her.
"Look Mama, look!"
Made it out of the tube.
Boompa even had to try the tube.
And of course the slide.
Filling up the water guns.
Kinsley didn't understand that she was supposed to squirt someone else. At least she was happy getting herself wet.
Gotta fill up again.
So much fun.
Nothing like a bootie shake in a swimsuit.
Ready for some fun in the sun.
The next Sports Illustrated swimsuit models.
Floating with Daddy.
Having so much fun.
Floating and kicking all by herself.
Getting to the shore.
Enjoying the treats Boompa bought after swimming.
Watching the camper go potty.

Garden Time

Yesterday during nap time, Kevin planted some of our garden, but had promised that the girls could help plant the rest. They had a great time helping Daddy and playing in the rain as they did so. Kinsley didn't really understand only put one seed in at a time. Our garden might be kind of interesting this year.

All dressed up and ready to help Daddy.
Kinsley throwing the potatoes in, while Keltie gently set them in.
Have to find another one.
Such a sweetie.
In go the cu-cum-cum like Kinsley would say. (Translation: cucumbers)
Getting all dirty.
Bored from planting so time to play who can get dizzy first.

Trip Number Four

Yes, we did it again. We went camping for the fourth weekend in a row. We decided to head to Miller Dam. Friday afternoon we are ready to pull out and we have the camper on boards to level it out. Well, needless to say, some sort of freak accident happened and one of those boards kicked out. Long story short, we had to pull off a piece of sheet metal and the plumbing needs a little bit of work, but we went anyway. It was beautiful weather and we had such a great time. The girls are getting so big and can easily entertain themselves so it was a pretty stress free weekend.
Who doesn't love fruit snacks?
Kinsley was a little apprehnsive of the sand at first, but then she loved it.
This was the world's slowest slide. Keltie got stuck there a few times and just giggled about it.
Spider ride with Daddy.
"Mama, I can get myself started."
Busy coloring.
Yeah, for suckers.
Just relaxing.
Keltie collecting a whole bunch of "treasures."
Kinsley's treasures.
I forgot to add the chocolate, but roasted marshmallows are still good.
Miss Kins just liked regular marshmallows.
Sunday morning as we were packing up it started to rain and hail.
This is the size of it.

Needless to say, we are loving our new camper. We already have the next two weekends booked for camping as well. As for our house, don't come near it!

Mother's Day

We headed to the Marshfield Zoo for Mother's Day and had a great time. It was hard to explain to Keltie that she wasn't going to see any bears or monkeys. Luckily, she got a big kick out of the ducks and geese. When we left, she told us how much fun she had and that the zoo was so big. :)

Looking for the geese who are hungry.
Trying to find the lynx.
We found a few were hungry, but it wasn't surprising that there weren't many who were willing to eat, since people were carrying around full bags of bread.
Here's a little more. (Keltie is very afraid and apprehensive of animals. Even the babysitter's dog she doesn't like, but with the geese, we had to tell her to back up a couple of different times.)
Mama Bear and Keltie Lion.

Rockstars

On Saturday we headed to Wausau to spend way too much money. This was the girls in the back, having a good time.
