This weekend we decided that it was time to move Keltie to her big girl bed. She does a great job of sleeping in the crib, but lately she's been moving to the top and can't get down while she's sleeping. The other night she also got her leg into the railing and couldn't get it out. We were going to wait until Christmas vacation to do it, but decided it was time. Keltie, Grammy and I went to Kohls on Saturday to pick out her bedding. We were all excited.
Yesterday we took the crib downstairs and made her bed. The whole time Keltie was in the room climbing on everything. We were happy about that because we figured she should be able to help. We ended up having to rearrange all her furniture, but we eventually got it figured out. Kevin put her in the bed a little while later for her nap. He said that she kind of looked around, but didn't make a sound. We checked on her about 10 minutes later and she was sound asleep. She slept good last night as well. She did wake up around 3:30 and started to cry. (She did this the other night as well.) Kevin went in and laid down with her. They both fell back asleep in there.
We are hoping that this good trend continues. I don't think that it's going to be too bad of a transition for her. It was bitter sweet though putting the crib downstairs. When I looked at Keltie taking her nap I of course came out crying. I told Kevin I couldn't figure out if it was because she's growing up too fast or if it's because she's such a good girl about new things. Either way, I love her.

We got Keltie's pictures. We are so impressed with them. It was so hard to choose which ones we liked the best. I was so happy that they turned out because all she wanted to do while Connie was taking the pictures was move around. It's hard to get an 18 month old to sit still for a long time. These are a few of my favorites. Thank you again Connie!

19 Months Old
Keltie is 19 months old today. It's so amazing. She has changed so much over the last few months. I was telling her this morning that 19 months ago today she turned Mommy and Daddy's world upside down, but that we wouldn't trade it for the world. She looked at me and just smiled her cute little smile. We are so thankful for her.
I should be able to post some of Keltie's 18 month pictures soon. Kevin just got the CD today so we are excited to look at them. Thank you again Connie for doing them.

She's Making A List
Daddy's Helper
Last night Kevin got an inversion table for his back. Needless to say, Keltie thought that she had to help Daddy put it together. Unfortunately, her definition of helping is a lot different than Daddy's.

Like Father Like Daughter
We've all heard the saying, like father, like son. Well, I think it's sometimes like father, like daughter. From day one, Keltie has looked like her Daddy. Now she's started to act a little bit like him. We watched the Packer game yesterday and Keltie got into it. She has never really paid any attention to it, until yesterday when Daddy was watching. She had to sit on Daddy's lap. When he cheered, she would cheer. She became upset when it went to commercials. She would point to the TV and start talking (which sounded like complaining) until the game came back on. It was cute to watch. I'm just glad she didn't have a blue yummy in her hand like Daddy!
